Whether Margi is performing solo or playing together as Matt & Margi, there is a shared love of folk and acoustic music, storytelling and creating spaces where people feel welcome.

Music has always been about connection for us. Good songs, good people and those moments where music says what words sometimes can’t.

For Margi, songwriting is inspired by family, nature, travel, love and the thoughts and moments gathered along the way. As Matt & Margi, you can expect sweet harmonies, familiar tunes, relaxed acoustic sound and a bit of banter.

Our dream is simple: to play cool music, with cool people, in cool places.
